ignotas-oculos asked: I really enjoy the elegance your blog displays

Why thank you! Thank you so very much.

hertempermatchesherhair asked: Regarding the "Passed a real gentleman on the sidewalk" reblog: If by "gentleman" you mean "sexist. Sad.

Although the Dutch aren’t known for their political-correctness by North American standards I still humbly descent. But honestly, think what you will. I enjoyed it. I still enjoy it. And if you truly take issue maybe you should seek out the original poster as I am just a reblogger.

Anonymous asked: where did your GoT blog go? :(

It still exists! I just changed the url, and am planning to give the whole thing a facelift. As it stands now the blog is in a bit of disrepair but hopefully by the end of the weekend it’ll be up and running again.

djabrosha asked: Hi:))) i like your blog, it is very sweet and warm)

Thank you!

Anonymous asked: do you know the designer of that gorgeous wedding dress you posted on 4.24?

If you’re talking about the flowered boat-necked number I am sad to say I haven’t got a clue. Perhaps try a reverse image search?

freespiritxflying asked: Cute blog. So happy to find it. May I ask.. How old are you and what do you want to do in your future?

I’m glad you like my blog!

I’m 20 years old studying archaeology at the University of Toronto. I’m hoping to be a Classical (Greek) specialist focusing on Archaic and Classical Greek art.

Anonymous asked: Do you like U of T? I've been accepted and I think I'm going to go next year.

U of T is a great school, without a doubt. We’re the best school in Canada and ranked 12 in the world. However, if you want the collegiate life it’s a bit hard to come by. If you live on campus it’s easier to make connections but I would suggest trying to find some way to get involved in another aspect of U of T: your college, varsity, student government, etc. But then again, that’s just my two cents!

Perhaps we’ll see each other on campus :)

ciaobellaxo asked: hey so i have a question, but it's pretty personal so feel free to ignore it if you want haha. so i understand that you're Christian - do you not want to have sex until you're married? because i'm not interested until i am truly in love with someone - it's kind of a similar goal i suppose. do you struggle with that? sometimes i feel like i should just get it over with haha. thoughts? x

I’m sorry it’s taken so long to respond to you. I’ve been meaning to, I’m just quite lazy, really, and this requires a pretty long answer.

I was always taught that you should save yourself for marriage and I’ve held that in my heart for quite some time. I told my first (serious) boyfriend that nothing would happen between us at all, to which he consented, but sure enough I felt the pressure pretty soon. It was an everything-but relationship, which all my relationships have been since.

The thing is, I felt really dirty in my first relationship because I was barely 17 and didn’t know to think for myself just yet. The following two relationships took place when I had come into my own and the dynamic was different; we weren’t fumbling teenagers in our parents’ houses.

The relationships I have described were really stress-laden due largely to sexual frustration, I’d put it. I mean, think about it realistically: barely 50 years ago I would probably already be married or on my way to it. I’m 20 and my sister got married at 21. It kinda gives me an odd feeling cause it’s not like I really think it’s expected of me to be married or anything (and I am nowhere near ready) but it’s a possibility.

There are lots of other reasons why virginity (women-specific) has been so important in the past. It was a woman’s only real value at one point of time. And when biology was barely understood men did not want to take a spoiled woman to marry for fear that their heirs would not be legitimate (even though we all know the seed does not stay incubated for like, 2-3 years as it was feared to).

The worst thing is: my parents views are changing. I always wanted to uphold their morals and beliefs and now they’re becoming more lax and I feel left in the dark. Like saying ‘Hey! Did you forget about me? I’m still a virgin because of you!’ I think a part of me resents them for it. It would’ve been easier to lose my virginity at 15 and be done with it in a cloud of hormones and uncertainty, than lose it at 20 where I’m a rational (sort of) adult.

I’m getting off topic. Basically I’m confused. I think I am waiting for love. True love. But if love is true, can’t it wait? Well the thing is - I don’t know if I can anymore.

Anonymous asked: I absolutely adore your blog and I was wondering if you knew where any of the items from a picture you posted of a bedroom were from? The picture had yellow and white wallpaper and a glass chandelier. As well as a large bed with white posts and I believe it also had a dressing wall type thing. There was also a white dresser with a metal birdcage on top. Thank you in advance and I hope you had a lovely day!

Thank you so much! I know which photo you’re referring to, one of my favourites! Unfortunately I didn’t take it from the original source (which is unknown to me) so I can’t be sure. The picture probably comes from one of my favourite blogs, zsa zsa bellagio who may have more leads for you. Hope that helps!

Anonymous asked: people are really hating on the u of t lip dub video.... i actually didn't think it was that bad! penny for your thoughts?

I thought it was great! I haven’t read any of the comments and I don’t think I’ll choose to now. There were a few things I wasn’t too pleased with but I support my school regardless

Anonymous asked: Please tell me where to find that fabulous Jute circular rug. I adore it! Regards, Dawne with D Magazine

Hi there! I’m actually unsure what you mean - can you provide a date, or page number or timestamp of the post?

findaheartbeat asked: Sorry for spamming your dash with reblogs, but your blog is so lovely! It makes me happy. Thanks for that:)

Don’t be silly, I’m glad you enjoy my blog! Thanks for the support!
